The announcement was accompanied by a key visual and the first promotional video. The visual depicts the protagonist, 17-year-old Mamiya Kei, looking ahead against the backdrop of Iceland's vast landscape. The trailer shows Kei driving his beloved Jimny along a straight road through nature.

The series is a juvenile mystery set in Land's End at 64 degrees north in Iceland. The protagonist, Mamiya Kei, has three secrets: he can talk to cars, he is bad with girls, and he works as a detective. The story follows his adventures as he retrieves runaway pets and searches for love at first sight.

The original manga by Aki Irie has a circulation of over 1.6 million copies. The anime will be directed by Yosuke Kubo, with character designs by Chikai Kubota. Shigeru Ono will voice the main character, Mamiya Kei.

The official website and X account for the anime are now live. The original manga volumes, published by KADOKAWA, are currently on sale.
