Episode 12 Preview for 'Tenmaku no Jaadougaru' Released

A new synopsis and scene cuts for Episode 12 of the anime Tenmaku no Jaadougaru have been released. The episode, titled "The Unchanging Grassland," will air in Japan on September 14, 2026.

The series is a historical drama set in the 13th-century Mongol Empire. It follows Shitara, a young woman who infiltrates the imperial court under a false identity to seek revenge. The anime is produced by Science SARU, the studio behind Devilman Crybaby and Scott Pilgrim Takes Off.

The synopsis for Episode 12 reveals that Sorqoqtani, moved by Shitara, refuses a political marriage with Guyuk. Meanwhile, Shitara finds a new lead in her search for the missing Doregene. The Great Khan Ogedei proposes a challenge to Shitara.

The anime features an opening theme, "Stella," performed by SEKAI NO OWARI.

Directed by Abel Gongora with series composition by Kanichi Katou, the show airs domestically on TV Asahi's IMAnimation block and BS Asahi.

The official website for the anime is anime-jaadugar.com. The series is based on the manga by Tomato Soup, serialized in Akita Shoten's Souffle magazine.
