=LOVE's 20th Single 'Gekiyaku Chudoku' Sets New Sales Record

=LOVE's 20th single, "Gekiyaku Chudoku," sold 360,000 copies in its first week. This is a new personal best for the group, surpassing the 330,000 copies sold by their previous single. The release debuted at number one on the Oricon weekly singles chart.

The single is the group's seventh to top the chart and their twentieth consecutive release to enter the Oricon weekly top ten. The single's total shipments have exceeded 410,000 copies.

The title track, "Gekiyaku Chudoku," features Noguchi Iori and Sasaki Maika as double centers. Its music video reached 10 million views in 19 days, the fastest pace for any =LOVE video. The track has accumulated over 30 million streams.

The group's previous viral hit, "Tokubechu, Shite," has surpassed 140 million cumulative streams and 2.2 billion total views on TikTok. Producer and lyricist Sashihara Rino won a Lyricist Award at the 67th Japan Record Awards for the song.

The 20th single includes two other tracks: "Moratoriumu" and "Ohimesama no Tsukurikata." Their music videos are also available.

=LOVE is currently on their 8th Anniversary Premium Tour. The tour finale is scheduled for April 18-19 at Yokohama Stadium. The group has also announced a two-day stadium live event at Tokyo's MUFG Stadium (National Stadium) on June 20-21, with an expected total attendance of approximately 120,000 people.
