9Lana Releases New Single 'BLUE MOON,' Music Video Premieres Friday

Artist 9Lana released a new single, "BLUE MOON," today. The track is a sequel to her breakout hit "BALALAIKA," which has over 10 million music video views.

The song tells the story of a woman grappling with unrequited love, set against a Latin pop beat. Teasers released prior hinted at a continuation of the "BALALAIKA" narrative.

The music video for "BLUE MOON" will premiere on YouTube on June 19 at —20:00 JST. A teaser for the video is already available.

The track incorporates vocal motifs from "BALALAIKA." The single's theme of "unrequited love" contrasts with the "take love slow" message of "BALALAIKA."

9Lana, known as a "song actor," debuted in April 2024. Her cover of "Secret Piercing 'Proposal'" charted on Billboard Japan.
