Atarashii Gakko! Release Fourth Album 'From Tokyo with Love' via 88rising

Atarashii Gakko! released their fourth full album, "From Tokyo with Love," on July 24 through the global label 88rising. The music video for the album track "Oi AG!" premiered on the same day.

The group played at Colours of Ostrava in the Czech Republic, Lollapalooza Berlin in Germany, and held their first overseas anniversary concert at the Roundhouse in London in July.

"From Tokyo with Love" contains ten tracks spanning funk, synth-pop, and rock ballads. It includes solo feature songs for members KANON, MIZYU, and RIN.

The "Oi AG!" music video, directed by Mackenzie Sheppard, features the group transforming a white kei truck into a mobile stage and driving through Tokyo at night. Sheppard said the song reminded him of a secret collaboration between ZZ Top, AC/DC, and Atarashii Gakko!.

Czech outlet Colours of Ostrava noted "sophisticated choreography," while Lollapalooza Berlin's official report mentioned the group jumping into the audience.

The track "TTTTOKYO" is featured in a new commercial for Mitsui Sumitomo Card's "Credit Card Ride" service. "Take Me With You" is the campaign song for the "GO GLOBAL" project by the Shibuya Future Design organization.

Atarashii Gakko! will tour Japan's Zepp venues in November, with an official pre-sale running until July 27. Their first Latin America tour is scheduled for December, with stops in Santiago, São Paulo, and Mexico City.
