BECAUZ formed in 1991 from the lineup of L3C, itself a successor to the band LOOK. Their sound blended City Pop, AOR, British beat, and R&B influences.

Vocalist Kunihisa Yamato will perform BECAUZ material with a band on June 5 at Blue Mood in Shiodome, Tokyo. Tickets go on sale March 20.

Six original music videos produced in the 1990s have also been published online. The videos accompany tracks including "Silly Girl," "Lady Anna," and "Kagayaiteite."

In a statement, founding members Kunihisa Yamato and Jin Chizawa said the group was formed to create music freely across genres without a strict concept. "We are confident we left behind the best work," they wrote. "We hope many people can feel the BECAUZ sound, which hasn't faded even after 30 years."
