CANDY TUNE releases 'Special Thanks Festival' MV, announces 4th single

CANDY TUNE has released the music video for their new song 'Special Thanks Festival'. The group also confirmed the track will be part of their fourth single CD, set for release on September 30.

The song was first performed at the group's Nippon Budokan debut in June, part of their third-anniversary celebrations. 'Special Thanks Festival' was written by Tamaya 2060%, the composer behind CANDY TUNE's signature track 'Baibai FIGHT!'. Choreographer SACO MAKITA, who worked on 'Baibai FIGHT!', also returned for this song.

The music video depicts the seven members as figures living inside a person's mind, navigating both difficult and happy moments together. The group held a viewing party to premiere the video, where they announced the single release.

The digital single 'Special Thanks Festival' is now available on streaming platforms. The physical single, a double A-side with a yet-to-be-titled track, will be released on September 30 in three editions: a limited first press, a CANDY TUNE edition, and a standard edition.

CANDY TUNE performed at NHK's Kohaku Uta Gassen for the first time last year and was nominated in six categories at the MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2026. The group is currently preparing for additional anniversary shows at GLION ARENA KOBE on July 21 and 22.

Following those dates, CANDY TUNE will embark on a 23-date national tour across 18 cities from August through December. The tour includes stops at major venues like Tokyo Garden Theater in December.
