The production is a collaboration between three companies: Nippon TV’s vertical video unit VIRAL POCKET, digital IP studio QREATION, and talent management firm Asobisystem. The show’s general director is Kazuaki Hashimoto, known for programs like Ariyoshi's Wall.

All seven members of CANDY TUNE will perform scripted acting as a group for the first time. Comedic duo KINGYO, winners of the M-1 Grand Prix, and actor Yutaro also appear in supporting roles.

CANDY TUNE's song "Baibai FIGHT!" surpassed 4.3 billion plays on TikTok. The group performed at the 76th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen and will hold a concert at Nippon Budokan in June 2026.

Harajuku Tele. premieres April 3 at 6:00 PM JST on its dedicated YouTube channel.
