The series airs weekly within the TV Tokyo children's program Oha Suta. After the Japanese broadcast, all episodes are uploaded for free on the official YouTube channel.

Inori Minase joins the cast as the new character Chibi Battra, a young lady monster from Roppongi Hills. She is a childhood friend of Chibi Mothra.

"I'm honored to join the series," Minase said. "I'm constantly overwhelmed by the insane pace at which Chibi Godzilla and his group deliver their jokes. I'll learn all the comedic timing I can to create new laughs as Chibi Battra."

The new opening theme, "Ano Hi no Madness," was written specifically for the anime by OKAMOTO'S, a "serious song that doesn't condescend to children."

"We felt the cute, surreal daily lives of everyone living on Monster Island are packed with important things we tend to forget as adults," said OKAMOTO'S. "We think we made a cool song that kids can rediscover and love again when they grow up and encounter 'Ano Hi no Madness' once more."

The anime, which has surpassed 100 episodes, features a voice cast including Jun Fukuyama, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, and Takahiro Sakurai. New episodes begin April 1, 2026.
