EAT-MAN The Over Order Reveals Second Teaser Visual at NYCC

The classic 90s manga EAT-MAN is being adapted into a new anime titled EAT-MAN The Over Order. The project was announced at New York Comic Con 2026 during the Crunchyroll Showcase.

Original creator Akihito Yoshitomi is writing the script and handling design concepts for the new adaptation. The second teaser visual, drawn by Yoshitomi, shows protagonist Bolt Crank against a futuristic cityscape.

Shunji Oga, known for Golgo 13, is directing. Character design is by Satoshi Hirayama of Lupin the Third fame. Veteran voice actor Masashi Ebara will play Bolt Crank. Studio CAB, led by Oga, is handling animation production.

The story follows Bolt Crank, a drifter who can consume metal and regenerate it into weapons.

A commemorative giveaway is running on the anime's official X account. Participants can win original sticker sets or a bolt-themed prize.

The anime's official website and social media accounts are now live. Further details on release timing are pending.
