Hana Hope Announces 'Hearts Glow' Single for Anime 'Sayonara Lara'

Hana Hope will release a new single, "Hearts Glow," on August 5. The track serves as the ending theme for the original TV anime Sayonara Lara, which premiered on July 5.

The digital release is scheduled for July 22. The song features acoustic guitar at its start before expanding into a full band arrangement. Hana Hope described the track as a message to those searching for their place, inspired by the anime's protagonist, a mermaid named Lara.

The single includes two additional tracks. "september" was recorded in Woodstock, USA, with producer David Baron, known for his work with Lana Del Rey and Shawn Mendes. "Scorpio Skies" was composed and produced by MONJOE.

The anime Sayonara Lara is a 15th-anniversary project from studio Kinema Citrus, known for Made in Abyss and My Happy Marriage. It is a retelling of The Little Mermaid, set 200 years in the future at Lake Biwa.

Hana Hope has scheduled a series of live performances. She will hold solo concerts titled "Hearts Glow" at Ebisu Liquidroom in Tokyo on August 7 and at Music Club JANUS in Osaka on August 28.

Her festival appearances include Summer Sonic 2026 in Osaka and Sweet Love Shower. Internationally, she is set to perform at AFTER WORK FEST 2026 in Malaysia on July 25 and LaLaLa Fest 2026 in Jakarta, Indonesia, on August 23.

The CD will be released in two editions. A first-press limited edition comes in a paper jacket. An anime limited edition includes an anime-drawn jacket and a Blu-ray with the non-credit ending video.
