Hatsune Miku 'Magical Mirai 2026' Contest Winners Released Worldwide

The winning songs from the Hatsune Miku 'Magical Mirai 2026' song contest are now available on global streaming platforms. The Vocaloid music label KARENT began digital distribution of the five award-winning tracks on March 27.

The grand prize winner is Kotae te by creator imie. The track features Hatsune Miku and the Crypton vocaloids backed by an acoustic ensemble of instruments used in Celtic folk music.

The other winning entries are After the Curtain by Rulmry., Shutter Chance by Yomisagi Agari featuring Hatsune Miku and Kagamine Rin, Sekai Saigo no Ongakutai by Natsuyama Yotsugi and Do~pamin, and Toritsukurology by Tsurusou featuring Kagamine Rin.

Creator comments accompany the releases. Imie described their winning song as an image of everyone singing together. Yomisagi Agari noted Shutter Chance is a song they had long wanted to write about Miku and Rin, themed around photogenic girls.

The songs are available on major services including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music. They are also on download stores like iTunes.

The Magical Mirai 2026 live events will be held in Hamamatsu, Osaka, and Tokyo this summer. The contest was held in conjunction with the annual festival, which combines 3DCG concerts with exhibitions celebrating fan creativity.
