Hatsune Miku's Magical Mirai 2026 expands to Hamamatsu, reveals new theme

Hatsune Miku's annual Magical Mirai concert and exhibition tour will visit three Japanese cities in 2026, adding a debut in Hamamatsu. The event will run for nine days across 18 live shows.

The tour begins July 24-26 at Act City Hamamatsu, followed by Osaka's Intex Osaka from August 14-16, and concludes at Makuhari Messe in Tokyo from August 28-30. The Hamamatsu debut is in the city that is home to Yamaha Corporation, the developer of the Vocaloid synthesis technology.

This year's event theme is "Lake Sonare." Illustrator Wata created the main visual, depicting Hatsune Miku singing by a lakeshore. The theme song, titled "Sora ni Menjite," was composed by Kasamura Tota with arrangement by Shimada Masanori.

The live shows feature 3DCG performances by the virtual singers Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, MEIKO, and KAITO, backed by a live band. The concurrent exhibition hall showcases fan art, music, and offers interactive workshops.

Domestic ticket lotteries open March 13. Overseas ticket sales will be handled separately at a later date. Official event details are available on the Magical Mirai 2026 website.
