Hitoshi Matsumoto's New Comedy Project Lands Global Netflix Deal

Hitoshi Matsumoto will produce a new comedy series for simultaneous release on the domestic platform DOWNTOWN+ and Netflix globally.

The project is currently in production, with a release planned for later this year. Details on the title, format, and specific launch schedule will be announced at a later date.

His previous international work includes Hitoshi Matsumoto Presents Documental on Amazon Prime Video. For DOWNTOWN+, he has produced shows including 大喜利GRAND PRIX and 7:3トーク.

The agreement for this dual-platform release was reached between Yoshimoto Kogyo Co., Ltd. and Netflix.
