Kaede Kitabayashi announces first digital mini album 'MayBloom.'

Kaede Kitabayashi will release her first digital mini album, "MayBloom.", on May 1. The lead single "曖昧ロマンス (Ai Mai Romance)" and its music video premiered on April 3.

The eight-track mini album includes the three songs she released consecutively last year—"I LOVE MESS", "Signal RED", and "虹 (Niji)"—along with new material. The music video features scenes of the artist driving and performing with her band.

Guitarist Takato Akizuki, formerly of the band Kankaku Piero, composed the music. The video and song incorporate a nostalgic, 90s-inspired aesthetic.

After appearing on the Netflix audition program "timelesz project" in 2024, Kitabayashi has expanded into acting with a stage role in 2025 and a film scheduled for 2027.

Two live shows in Tokyo are scheduled: a multi-artist event "TOKYO FLASH 2026" at Shibuya TOKIO TOKYO on April 24, and her second solo live "MayBloom." at GRIT at Shibuya on May 30.

Kitabayashi's official channels include her website, Instagram, X (Twitter), TikTok, and YouTube.
