Kitani Tatsuya to Perform Ending Theme for 'NEEDY GIRL OVERDOSE' Anime

Kitani Tatsuya will provide the ending theme for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of the indie game NEEDY GIRL OVERDOSE. His new song, titled "Revelation" (れびてーしょん), was written specifically for the series.

The anime is scheduled to premiere on April 4, 2026. It will air on Japanese broadcast channels and stream simultaneously on ABEMA. The announcement notes it will also be available on "other distribution platforms."

The original game, released on Steam in 2022, has surpassed 3 million downloads. Its related music tracks have accumulated over 400 million streams worldwide.

The anime's opening theme will be "INTERNET ANGEL" by Aiobahn +81. The series music is composed by DE DE MOUSE and Genki Haraguchi. Animation production is handled by Yostar Pictures, known for Arknights and Blue Archive.

The anime will follow the 30-day story of a streamer with a strong need for validation and her supporter "P," based on the multi-ending adventure game. The main cast includes川口莉奈 (Rina Kawaguchi),椎名桜月 (Satsuki Shiina),星希成奏 (Naruse Hoshiki), and永瀬アンナ (Anna Nagase).

Kitani Tatsuya is known for providing the opening theme "Ao no Sumika" for Jujutsu Kaisen and performing at the 74th Kouhaku Uta Gassen.
