Korean Anime 'Bread Barber Shop' Season 2 Premieres in Japanese on YouTube

The Japanese-dubbed version of Season 2 for the Korean 3DCG anime Bread Barber Shop is now streaming exclusively on YouTube. The first five episodes launched on July 20, 2026, with new episodes scheduled for release every Monday.

The series follows Bread, a master stylist who runs a salon for sweets and pastries, along with his assistant Wilk and cashier Choco. It has ranked in the Netflix Kids Top 10 in over 10 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia. Its social media accounts have amassed over 9.9 million followers worldwide.

In Japan, the official YouTube channel has surpassed 400,000 subscribers and 600 million total views. A comic adaptation is also serialized on the web comic site Weekly CoroCoro Comic.

Season 2 introduces new characters like the popular idol Macaron and the gluttonous Ice Cream. New episodes reveal how Bread first met Choco and follow Wilk's personal growth.

The first five episodes are available now on the official Japanese YouTube channel. The premiere episode, "The Hair Designer of Bakerry Town," features a showdown between Bread and a boy made of hardtack.
