Kyary Pamyu Pamyu Releases 'Pang Pang Pang' for Anime 'Pan Dorobou'

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu will release a new digital single, "Pang Pang Pang," on October 2, 2026. The track serves as the ending theme for the upcoming NHK E-tele anime series Pan Dorobou.

The song was written specifically for the anime, which is based on a popular picture book series with over 6 million copies sold. The artist described it as a beat-driven, cool track that differs from expectations of a fairytale-like pop song.

The anime's second main promotional video, released today, features the first preview of "Pang Pang Pang." Pre-save links for the single are now active.

In a statement, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu expressed her excitement, noting Pan Dorobou is a favorite story she reads to her child often. She said the song has an addictive quality that might make listeners crave bread.

The artist debuted in 2011 with "PONPONPON."

The single "Pang Pang Pang" will be available on major streaming platforms from October 2.
