=LOVE Announces Tokyo Dome Concert After Record-Breaking Stadium Show

Idol group =LOVE will perform at Tokyo Dome in January 2027. The announcement came after the group's largest-ever concert, a two-day stadium event that drew 132,000 fans.

The group, produced by former AKB48 member Rino Sashihara, held its =LOVE STADIUM LIVE "Beyond 'KYUN'(Heart)" at Tokyo's MUFG Stadium on June 20 and 21.

Their 20th single, "Gekiyaku Chudoku" (劇薬中毒), released in April, topped both the Oricon and Billboard Japan weekly singles charts. It has shipped over 500,000 copies. Their previous single, "Tokubechu, shite" (とくべチュ、して), has accumulated over 170 million streams and 2.2 billion views on TikTok.

The stadium concert featured a 24-song main setlist. Special performances included a collaboration with the Kyoto Tachibana Senior High School brass band and a baton-twirling routine by member Hitomi Takamatsu. A surprise fan-led light display spelled "=LOVE" across the stands.

During the encore on the second day, a video revealed the Tokyo Dome dates. Leader Anna Yamamoto, fighting back tears, addressed the crowd: "We grabbed Tokyo Dome, all of us together!" The group then performed "Egao no Recipe" (笑顔のレシピ), a song about their dream of performing at the venue.

The Tokyo Dome concerts are set for January 19 and 20, 2027. Fan club pre-sales begin in October 2026.

Setlist playlists for the stadium concerts are available: Day 1 and Day 2.
