Manga 'The Strongest Man from Misfortune' Hits 1.75 Million Copies, TV Anime Set for 2027

The isekai fantasy manga Fūun kara no Saikyō Otoko (The Strongest Man from Misfortune) has surpassed 1.75 million copies in circulation. A television anime adaptation is scheduled to premiere in 2027.

The series, serialized in Starts Publishing's comic Grast magazine, follows Siegbert, a man who dies after a life of misfortune and is reborn in another world with an extraordinary 'Luck' stat. He lives peacefully with a new, warm family until his high luck begins attracting powerful 'Chance' enemies.

The production committee released an image promotional video and key character visuals. The PV is directed by Shigetaka Ikeda.

Shōya Chiba performs the image song "Luck Out." The anime will be produced by East Fish Studio, with series composition and script by Aki Mizuki and character design by Yumiko Hara and Yūki Osada.
