MISIA releases 'Gamusyara' single with nature documentary special movie

MISIA's new single "Gamusyara" serves as the theme for NHK's long-running nature documentary series "Darwin ga Kita!" and the ending theme for its upcoming theatrical film.

The track was written by MISIA following location shoots with the program. It coincides with the series' 20th anniversary. The theatrical film "Darwin ga Kita! Sekai no Neko no Nakamatachi" opens in Japanese theaters on October 2.

A special movie combining the song with footage from the film premiered on YouTube. The video features cats from around the world, including desert lions and Pallas's cats, with a cheetah sprinting in sync with the lyrics.

MISIA wrote the lyrics, with music by HIDE and arrangement by Hiroshi Matsui and Shiro Sagisu.
