Nao Yoshioka will release her new album, 'self', digitally on July 17, 2026. A limited-edition clear vinyl follows on August 7.

The project features a global roster of collaborators, including Philadelphia neo-soul legend Bilal, Grammy-winning producer Peter CottonTale, Chicago poet-singer Jamila Woods, and indie R&B artist Devin Morrison. Other contributors are Australian producer MXXWLL, UK vocalist Sam Wils, Dutch-Ghanaian artist Bnnyhunna, Vietnamese singer Mỹ Anh, and Finnish R&B artist Misha.

Yoshioka describes 'self' as an album that delves into her internal world. Following an 11-country world tour for her previous album 'Flow', she focused on accepting aspects of herself previously seen as struggles. The title represents embracing one's complete self, including vulnerabilities.

The tracklist spans 12 songs, with features from trumpeter Keyon Harrold, vibraphonist Chien Chien Lu, and producer Khari Mateen.

A "self" World Tour is scheduled, with Japanese dates confirmed for October 2026 in Fukuoka, Tokyo, Osaka, and Sapporo. Additional shows in Europe, America, and Asia are planned.

The digital album and CD are available for pre-order. The limited vinyl can be purchased via SWEET SOUL RECORDS.
