New Episode 9 Preview and Posters for 'Kimi ga Shinu made Koi wo Shitai'

The anime Kimi ga Shinu made Koi wo Shitai has released the synopsis, a web preview, and episode posters for its ninth episode, titled "Watashi no Mahou" (My Magic). The series, based on Aono Nachi's manga, began airing on July 7.

The preview video for Episode 9 uses sepia-toned footage and key lines of dialogue. The official episode synopsis describes a pivotal moment: after the death of their friend Seiran, Mimi tells Ari that resurrection magic could bring her back. Shina, voiced by Rie Takahashi, pleads with Instructor Fran to witness her magic, determined to remain a place of belonging for Mimi.

Two new "episode posters" featuring stills from the episode have also been unveiled.

The anime's official web radio, "Kimi ga Shinu made Koi wo Shitai Radio no Jikan," is now streaming. Hosted by Rie Takahashi, the show releases new episodes every other Friday. The fourth episode featured guest Seto Asami, the voice of Lizzie Seiran.

The series' music is available on major streaming platforms. The opening theme "Amore" is by ReoNa, and the ending theme "Eterunel" is by sajou no hana. A special ending song, "Statice," performed by the characters Seiran (Seto Asami) and Ari (Ishikawa Yui), was also released.

Blu-ray volumes for the series have been scheduled for release in Japan. Volume 1 arrives on October 28, 2026, followed by Volume 2 on November 27 and Volume 3 on December 25. The limited editions include acrylic stands, tapestries, and other illustrated goods.

Kimi ga Shinu made Koi wo Shitai is streaming internationally on platforms like Crunchyroll. The story follows Shina, a 14-year-old girl raised in a school that trains children as weapons of war, and her encounter with a blood-stained girl named Mimi.
