Ojamajo Doremi Returns with Short-Form Anime 'Doremi Nyon'

Toei Animation has launched a new short-form anime series for the classic magical girl franchise, Ojamajo Doremi. Titled Ojamajo Doremi Nyon, the series began streaming on the franchise's official YouTube and TikTok channels on March 28, 2026.

The series follows a new set of characters called "Doremignon," born from the tears of Hana-chan, the baby witch from the original series. These pint-sized versions of Doremi and her friends live alongside Hana-chan in a new, miniature world.

The opening theme is a new arrangement of the series' iconic song "Ojamajo Carnival." K-pop artist Zion.T's production team STANDARD FRIENDS and singer-songwriter SUMIN handled the rearrangement.

Character designs for the new series are by popular illustrator Imomushi, based on the original designs by longtime series animation director Yoshihiko Umakoshi.

The short anime series is available on the official YouTube channel and TikTok account.
