POV Romance Anime 'Numa na Kareshi to Dousei Seikatsu' Launches on YouTube, TikTok

A new POV romance situation anime, 'Numa na Kareshi to Dousei Seikatsu' (Living with a 'Swamp' Boyfriend), begins weekly distribution on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. The series features three boyfriends with secret double lives.

Voice actors Nobuhiko Okamoto, Ryohei Kimura, and Ban Taito are cast. The script is by Yumida Yumi, a scenario writer for otome games. The studio, KaKa Technology Studio, utilizes AI in its production pipeline.

The characters include a kindergarten teacher who is also an assassin, a popular game streamer who is also an incubus, and a painter who is also a vampire. The story is told from a first-person, female perspective.

The main YouTube channel will update weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Each character also has a dedicated TikTok account.

Nobuhiko Okamoto, voicing Meiya Aruto, described adjusting the balance for a yandere-type character. Ryohei Kimura, as Motooji Ruka, warned that the sweet smile hides a blade that might turn on the viewer. Ban Taito plays Koguji Haru, a painter with a vampiric secret.

The character designs were handled by the artist Tōmin. The producer and planner is listed as HAsh.
