Prime Video's 'Jirai Guriko' Teaser Reveals High-Stakes Game Drama

Prime Video has released the teaser for the live-action adaptation of Ario Aozaki's novel 'Jirai Guriko' (Landmine Glico).

The series stars Mori Nana and Makita Aju as high school students drawn into a series of high-stakes psychological games. The games are based on common playground pastimes like 'Glico' (Red Light, Green Light), rock-paper-scissors, and 'Daruma-san ga koronda'.

Director Kanta Wani, known for music videos for Perfume and Sakanaction, directs. The score is composed by yuma yamaguchi.

The stakes are not their lives, but elements of their daily lives and youth, from prime festival booth locations to chips worth millions of yen.

The novel 'Jirai Guriko' won an unprecedented nine major mystery awards in Japan. The drama is produced by THE SEVEN and Kadokawa Daiei Studio for Amazon MGM Studios.
