Sarah Brightman Releases First New Studio Album in Eight Years

Sarah Brightman releases her first new studio album in eight years, 'Sunset Over Broadway - A New Best Collection', on July 17. The album features a duet with Japanese actress and singer Mone Kamishiraishi.

All tracks on the album are new recordings, produced by her longtime collaborator Frank Peterson. The collection includes songs from musicals like 'Sunset Boulevard', 'The Phantom of the Opera', and 'Love Never Dies'. A new Spanish version of her signature song 'Time To Say Goodbye' is also featured.

The duet with Kamishiraishi, 'A Girl Against A Girl - Mujer Contra Mujer', is a cover of a hit song by the Spanish pop group Mecano. Brightman personally requested the collaboration with Kamishiraishi.

Brightman is currently starring in the Japanese production of the musical 'Sunset Boulevard' at Tokyo's Bunkamura Orchard Hall, running from July 10 to August 1. This is her return to musical theatre after three decades and the first staging in Japan of a musical she stars in.

The album is available for pre-order through the Universal Music Store.
