SKY-HI and BE:FIRST Members Join the Recording Academy

SKY-HI and six members of BE:FIRST have been selected as new members of the Recording Academy. This grants them voting and attendance rights for the 69th Grammy Awards in 2027.

SKY-HI is the CEO and founder of BMSG, the label representing BE:FIRST. The selected BE:FIRST members are SOTA, SHUNTO, MANATO, RYUHEI, JUNON, and LEO.

BMSG announced a "second founding period" at a business conference in late June. The label outlined plans for increased global investment and an overseas festival by 2030.

SKY-HI founded BMSG in 2020. The label's roster includes BE:FIRST, MAZZEL, HANA, and STARGLOW.

BE:FIRST completed their first world tour in 2025. They performed across the United States, Asia, and Europe. The group held their first stadium concert in Japan in May 2026.
