TAEYEON releases Korean cover of tuki.'s 'Bansanka'

TAEYEON's Korean-language cover of the Japanese mega-hit "Bansanka" and its music video were released simultaneously on June 29 at 6 PM JST.

The original "Bansanka," by singer-songwriter tuki., has surpassed 500 million streams and 170 million YouTube views since its 2023 release. tuki. sold out a solo concert in Seoul this April.

TAEYEON's version is the first release from the new "J-POP REMAKE" project. The project, spearheaded by talent Kannam, will feature Korean artists covering Japanese hits.

The music video features RESCENE members Wony and Minami. The full video depicts a story of two girls, one isolated and the other reaching out.

Kannam stated the project seeks to add new appeal to beloved songs for fans in both countries.
