TAK releases 'Mikansei na Sayonara' featuring Miki Maria and Hatsune Miku

Producer TAK released a new digital single, 'Mikansei na Sayonara' (Unfinished Goodbye), on August 21. The synth-pop track features vocalist Miki Maria and Vocaloid icon Hatsune Miku.

Its music video premiered as part of YouTube Music Weekend 12.0. The video narrative follows a protagonist using a fictional voice restoration service called the DRDR PROJECT, guided by an interface of Hatsune Miku. The system refuses to restore memories beyond 99.9%, leading the user to overwrite data with their own desired truths.

It focuses on the human inability to let go of certain memories and the symbolic "0.1%" that technology cannot restore.

TAK's previous July release, 'Nyanya Nyachunya', surpassed one million views. Another track, 'PPPP', has recorded 55 million streams.
