TXT's New Song 'Silence' Features in Japanese Film Trailer

TOMORROW X TOGETHER have released a new song, 'Silence,' as the theme for the upcoming Japanese live-action film '沖晴くんの涙を殺して' (Oki Haru-kun no Namida o Koroshite). The trailer featuring the track is now available.

In a statement, TXT described 'Silence' as a track characterized by the harmony of poignant vocals and powerful guitar sounds.

The film is based on a novel by Mio Nukaga and stars Alice Hirose and Taisei Kido. The story follows a music teacher with a one-year prognosis who returns to her hometown and meets a high school student said to have had his emotions, except for joy, taken by a 'shinigami' or death god.

The trailer, set to TXT's 'Silence,' shows scenes of the two characters by the sea, with sunflowers and fireworks, as they begin to confront what it means to live.

'Silence' is included on TXT's Japanese fifth single 'Setsuna Hanabi,' released on August 19. The film will have a limited advance release in Hiroshima starting September 18, followed by a nationwide release in Japan on October 2.
