Uru releases lyric video for new drama theme song 'Sorenanoni'

Uru has released a short lyric video for her new song, "Sorenanoni." The track will serve as the theme for the TV Asahi drama "Ani Imouto," starring Nana Eikura and Eiji Akaso.

The digital single arrives on October 21. Pre-save and pre-add options are live on Apple Music and Spotify.

Uru wrote and composed the mid-tempo rock ballad herself, with arrangement by Yoshiaki Dewa. The lyric video was filmed at a coastal location used in the drama.

The drama "Ani Imouto" is a love-suspense story about two pairs of siblings with intertwined fates. It is written by Noriko Yoshida and directed by Takehiko Shinjo, the team behind the 2024 hit "Destiny." It premieres October 17.

Nana Eikura, who plays the lead role of Nao Haruki, said Uru's song helped deepen her understanding of the drama's world. Co-star Eiji Akaso called the track a beautiful and painful expression of the story's worldview. Director Takehiko Shinjo said Uru's unique, poignant sound matched the drama's intended atmosphere.

A separate promotional video for the drama featuring the song is currently playing on a large screen in front of Shibuya Hikarie until October 11.

Uru is currently on her first national tour in three years, which concludes at LINE CUBE SHIBUYA in Tokyo on October 21. A broadcast of her Omiya Sonic City performance is scheduled for November on WOWOW.

The lyric video is on YouTube. The song can be pre-saved via this link. The drama's official website is here.
