YOASOBI Release 'Orion' for Overwatch Collaboration

YOASOBI Release 'Orion' for Overwatch Collaboration

YOASOBI released their fourth EP, 'THE BOOK for,' on June 26, featuring the new collaboration track "Orion" with the game 'Overwatch.' The collaboration event in the game began on July 1.

The song "Orion" is based on the short story 'The Fall of a Sparrow,' which centers on the characters Genji, Hanzo, and Kiriko in the new Tokyo setting of Overwatch. A teaser for the collaboration music video, which depicts the three characters confronting their memories, is now on YouTube.

The track is included on the EP. A US-exclusive vinyl edition of the EP features special Overwatch collaboration artwork.

The in-game collaboration event runs until July 21, Japan time. It introduces six limited-edition character skins based on YOASOBI's aesthetic, including Hanzo, Genji, Kiriko, Mizuki, Juno, and Anran, along with a dance emote set to "Orion."

The track "Orion" is available on global streaming platforms. The original short story is available on the Overwatch website.
