Yoh Kamiyama Announces New Album 'Chemical X' for August

Yoh Kamiyama will release his new album, "Chemical X," on August 5. It is his first full album in approximately four years, following 2022's "CLOSET."

The album will include tracks like 2022's "Summer Time feat. Chieko Ikeda" and the upcoming digital single "Sei," out July 8. The full album will be available for digital pre-release on July 22.

A physical CD will be offered in two editions: a special first-press version with a booklet and sticker sheet, and a standard edition.

Kamiyama commented on the album, stating that a major theme during its creation was "not deciding on Yoh Kamiyama's color." He described the result as a collection where the songs interact and create a chemical reaction.

New promotional photos shot by photographer Taichi Nishimaki were also released. The visuals incorporate fisheye lenses and psychedelic color.

Physical purchases from Japanese retailers like Amazon.co.jp, Rakuten Books, and Seven Net Shopping will include limited, store-specific bonuses such as mega jackets, acrylic keychains, and posters.
