The performance featured a special arrangement for piano and drums. It began with a classical piano melody before drums introduced a rock intensity ahead of the race start. A record crowd of 130,000 spectators attended the event.

After the ceremony, YOSHIKI traveled to Tokyo for rehearsals ahead of his upcoming classical concerts.

His classical tour begins with "YOSHIKI CLASSICAL 2026 Awakening Eve—Tokyo 3 Nights: First Chapter to the World" at Tokyo Garden Theatre on April 3, 4, and 5. The Tokyo concerts mark his return to major performances following a third cervical spine surgery and extended rehabilitation.

The tour's second chapter, "YOSHIKI CLASSICAL 2026 IN LOS ANGELES WALT DISNEY CONCERT HALL 'SCARLET NIGHT & VIOLET NIGHT'," is scheduled for July 16 and 17 at the Walt Disney Concert Hall.

Tickets for the Los Angeles concerts went on sale for fan club members on March 26. General sales begin April 10.

The "YOSHIKI CHANNEL" broadcast from March 29 is available on YouTube with Japanese audio and an English-translated stream.
