Black Lagoon Anime Streams Free on YouTube, New Manga Volumes Released

The anime series 'BLACK LAGOON' is now streaming for free on YouTube. The official Sunday GX channel began a scheduled release of all episodes on August 19.

Each episode will be available for two weeks. The first season's 12 episodes will roll out through September 26. The second season, 'The Second Barrage,' follows from October une 4 to November 12. The five-episode OVA 'Roberta’s Blood Trail' will stream from November 15 to 29.

'BLACK LAGOON' Volume 14 and the official spin-off 'BLACK LAGOON Eda Initial Stage' Volume 9 both launched on August 19. The main series recently surpassed 10 million copies in circulation during its 25th anniversary year.

The Sunday GX channel also released a new TV commercial for Volume 14 and a series of short videos focusing on iconic lines from characters Revy, Rock, Balalaika, Roberta, and Eda.

In Japan, a bookstore fair offers a special 'seal lottery' sticker with purchases of related comics. A separate, purchasable 'BLACK LAGOON Seal Lottery' item with eight sticker designs also launched.

The new main volume continues the story in the criminal city of Roanapur. A conflict sparked in California involving the Hotel Moscow faction threatens to destabilize the city's fragile balance.

The spin-off's ninth volume follows Eda as she is tasked with honey-trapping an African prince in the UK, putting her against Russian intelligence in a covert battle.
