About Paul Rudd

Paul Rudd is an English house music DJ and music producer born on September 15, 1979. Beginning his journey as a radio DJ in the 1990s, he has since established himself as one of the most creative figures in the UK house music scene.

Career Highlights

Rudd's breakthrough came in 1998 when he won the 'Search for a Star' competition at the Capital Radio Café in Leicester Square with Neil Fox. This victory launched a career that would take him to venues around the world.

His global DJ career has included performances with Hed Kandi in Ibiza, Majorca, the French Alps, Greece, Poland, New York, and the Dominican Republic. He has also been a resident DJ at prominent London venues and performed at major events.

Music Releases

Rudd has released fifteen singles and his debut album, The Sound of London, came out in November 2012. Some of his notable releases include:

  • "X-Me" (2011) featuring Kelly-Anne Lyons
  • "Egotastic" launched at the Ibiza Rocks festival
  • "More Amore" featuring Vivi, which was shortlisted for MTV's Brand New for 2012 competition
  • "Set Me Free 2012" a remake featuring original singer Jaki Graham
  • "Trust in Me" (2012) featuring Amanda Wilson, which reached No. 4 in the UK Official Club Charts

Rudd has also worked as a remixer for artists including Mis-teeq, Alexander O'Neal, Elton John, David Gray, and Daft Punk through Mastermix and DMC.

Broadcasting Career

Beyond his production and performance work, Paul Rudd hosts the internationally syndicated radio show Globalsessions, bringing the freshest dance music to audiences in over 40 countries each week. His broadcasting career started early, having set up a school radio station and worked in hospital radio before his commercial breakthrough.

Special Performances

Rudd served as the launch DJ for P&O's cruise ship MV Britannia, which was named by Queen Elizabeth II in March 2015. He was also announced as the DJ for P&O's MV Iona launch event in 2020, performing alongside stars including Gary Barlow, Pixie Lott, and Clean Bandit.
