The music video for 'Melty Merry Merry' premiered on YouTube the same evening. The group describes the song as a slightly dark, girly track about an 'imperfect, melting love.'

Composer Hirotaka Hayakawa, known for work with Nogizaka46 and King & Prince, co-wrote the title track. Kato Hiroyasu, who wrote 'Summer Chocolate' for ≠ME, composed the B-side.

The digital singles are available on streaming platforms. A physical CD single is scheduled for release on March 24.

One member described it as 'sweet but with a hint of bitterness.'
