Gyubin and chilldspot provide theme songs for 'Girl or Lady 3'

Korean artist Gyubin and Tokyo band chilldspot have created new songs for the third season of the ABEMA reality show 'Girl or Lady'. The show premieres June 14.

Gyubin's track "You Light Up My Life" serves as the theme for the show's contestants in their twenties. The song is her official Japanese debut single. A clip is available on TikTok and Instagram now, with the full digital release set for June 12.

chilldspot's song "Ladyy" is the theme for the contestants in their thirties. The band's vocalist, Hiyune, said the track aims to be an unpretentious song you can keep close to your heart. "Ladyy" will be released digitally on June 10.

ABEMA has released two special videos featuring the new songs with footage from the show. The program, 'Girl or Lady 3', is a dating reality series where women in their twenties and thirties navigate relationships and marriage. Studio MCs include Ann Mika, Wakatsuki Chinatsu, Fujimori Shingo, and Hira Yuna.

Gyubin's debut single "Really Like You" topped viral charts across Asia in 2024, surpassing 36 million streams in Japan. chilldspot, known for their genre-less sound, has performed at festivals in Japan, China, and Taiwan, and signed with the Chinese label Modern Sky in 2024.

The show's first episode will be available on ABEMA from June 14 at 9 PM JST.
