The album, titled 'What if…', is out May 8. It features covers of Japanese songs from the 1980s to the present, including Mariya Takeuchi's 'Plastic Love', Kenshi Yonezu's 'Lemon', and imase's 'NIGHT DANCER'. A Japanese version of Flower.far's own track 'flower.far' is also included.

Flower.far recorded the album in Sapporo, Hokkaido. "I sang these well-known Japanese songs with my own interpretation, with respect for Japanese music culture and the original artists," she said.

A documentary following the album's production, 'FLOWER.FAR “What if… : A Voice Across Borders”', premiered on her YouTube channel on April 24. It was directed by Jaithep Raroengjai, a Thai film composer based in Japan who won a Suphannahong Award for Best Original Score.
