Pinkfong, TV Asahi Co-Produce New 3DCG Short Series 'momomo! Ninimo'

The Pinkfong Company, creator of Baby Shark, is partnering with Japanese broadcaster TV Asahi for the first time. The collaboration will produce a new 3DCG short animation series titled momomo! Ninimo.

The series is scheduled to premiere in Japan in January 2027. It will air weekly on TV Asahi's Kanto local channel and be distributed on digital platforms including YouTube and TVer.

momomo! Ninimo is a non-verbal slapstick comedy centered on an orange cat named Nini and her peculiar, adorable companion, Mo. The 36-episode series follows their adventures in a playful world where small, everyday events turn into big escapades.

The characters first appeared as part of Pinkfong's existing 3D series Pinkfong & Hogi: Cat Ninimo. Their popularity grew through 2D music videos, including the Latin pop-inspired "Ninimo Latin Pop," which garnered tens of millions of views.
