The Top 40 J-POP songs - Week 47 of 2024 – OnlyHit Japan Charts

This week’s top 40 chart sees Creepy Nuts holding strong at the top with "オトノケ - Otonoke" remaining at number one for the seventh consecutive week. Their track "Bling-Bang-Bang-Born" retains the number two spot, making for eight weeks. Moving up one place to third is "It's Going Down Now" by 高橋あず美, Lotus Juice, アトラスサウンドチーム, ATLUS GAME MUSIC, while King Gnu's "SPECIALZ" also climbs a position to fourth. A notable new entry is XG’s "HOWLING," debuting at an impressive fifth position.
Among the movements, "ファタール - Fatal" by GEMN, Kento Nakajima, and Tatsuya Kitani makes a notable rise from 13th to 11th. "Abyss - from Kaiju No. 8" by YUNGBLUD and ZUTOMAYO’s "TAIDADA" also climbed the ranks, landing in 13th and 14th, respectively. On the flip side, "IYKYK" by XG slides significantly from 11th to 17th, while several songs including "Bunny Girl" by AKASAKI and "SOMETHING AIN'T RIGHT" by XG experienced minor declines.

In the lower half, significant upward momentum is seen in "LOST IN PARADISE" by ALI, AKLO, which jumped from 29th to 24th. Ai Higuchi’s "Akuma no Ko" leaps to 28th from its previous 35th position. Hiroyuki Sawano’s "Call of Silence" enters the chart at 36th, contributing new energy to this week’s lineup.

Several tracks, while remaining on the chart, saw minor downward shifts. Vaundy's "踊り子," "UNDEAD" by YOASOBI, and Hitsujibungaku's "Burning" show resilience with slight improvements. As artists continue to battle for the top spots, the variety and movement offer listeners a dynamic and ever-changing musical landscape.
