The Top 40 J-POP songs - Week 09 of 2025 – OnlyHit Japan Charts

This week's top 40 chart sees Creepy Nuts' "オトノケ - Otonoke" securely holding its number one position for the 12th consecutive week. Notably, LiSA and Felix of Stray Kids' collaboration, "ReawakeR," climbs to the second spot from fourth place, marking its highest position yet. Meanwhile, "Take Me to the Beach" by Imagine Dragons featuring Ado slides down to the third position, and Creepy Nuts' "Bling-Bang-Bang-Born" falls to fourth place.
Significant upward movements can be found with YOASOBI's "アイドル" which rises to fifth place, marking the song's best position. Likewise, Mrs. GREEN APPLE's "インフェルノ" ascends to position seven. Advancements continue with YOASOBI's "勇者" soaring from thirtieth to twentieth, and Ado's "唱" making a notable rise from seventeenth to fourteenth place.

On the flip side, some tracks experienced declines, with Frontiers by Awich taking a notable dip from sixteenth to twenty-eighth, and YOASOBI's "夜に駆ける" dropping slightly to eighth. Lesser drops were seen, such as with Siinamota's "Young Girl A" descending from twenty-third to twenty-sixth place.

A fresh entry makes its way onto the chart, with "Some Type Of Skin" by AURORA, featuring ATARASHII GAKKO!, debuting at number 37. Other significant debuts or re-entries are absent, but the movement within the chart suggests a dynamic interaction in music listening trends this week. Stay tuned next week to see how these shifts play out.
