The Top 40 J-POP songs this week - Only Hits Japan Charts

Welcome back, chart watchers. XG holds firm at the summit for a second week with **HYPNOTIZE**, but the story of this week is an unprecedented surge. ONE OR EIGHT’s **TOKYO DRIFT** rockets from number 22 all the way to number 2, marking the chart’s most dramatic climb. This movement reshuffles the upper tier, pushing last week’s number 2, King Gnu’s **AIZO**, down one spot to number 3.
Significant jumps are a theme. Ado’s **Angelseek** ascends 13 places to number 6, while HANA’s **Cold Night** makes a staggering 26-spot leap to debut in the top 10 at number 9. We also welcome two strong new entries directly into the top 15: ZUTOMAYO’s **Medianoche** at number 10 and Taku Iwasaki’s **Outlaws Get No Entry** at number 14.

The chart sees notable re-entries and lower-half activity. Ado claims another slot as **soldier game** returns at number 28. Further down, Hoshimachi Suisei’s **月に向かって撃て** rises 15 places to number 22, and Eve’s **Underdog** climbs back into the top 20. New tracks from Number_i, kakizaki yuta, and ヨルシカ debut between numbers 29 and 32.
