The Top 40 J-POP songs - Week 09 of 2026 – Only Hits Japan Charts

This week's J-Pop Top 40 is defined by a new leader and a surge of momentum from the middle of the chart. XG's HYPNOTIZE ascends to #1, dethroning last week's leader, natori's セレナーデ, which falls to #6. King Gnu's AIZO holds strong at #2, while CHANMINA's TEST ME makes a major five-spot jump into the Top 3.

Significant upward movement is the story of the week. AiNA THE END's 革命道中 rockets ten places to #9, and YOASOBI's アドレナ climbs seven to #10. Ado's MAGIC also surges seven spots to #13, and ILLIT's Sunday Morning jumps seven to #17.

We welcome six new entries, led by Vaundy's シンギュラリティ debuting at #11. They are followed by sakanaction (#20), Ado again with Vivarium (#22), yama (#26), amala (#32), and ME:I (#38). Fujii Kaze's Hachikō also makes a notable re-entry at #36.
