The Top 40 Pop songs - Week 23 of 2026 – Only Hits Charts

Temper City holds at number one for a second week with "Self Aware," but major movement follows. The week's biggest rise belongs to Olivia Rodrigo, whose song "the cure" rockets 35 places to land at number three. Gracie Abrams also makes a strong push, climbing four spots to a new peak at number two with "Hit the Wall."
This week's chart is marked by significant new entries. Charli XCX makes a powerful debut at number four with "SS26," leading a group of fresh tracks. Notable arrivals include Shakira and Burna Boy's "Dai Dai" at 15, Ariana Grande's "hate that i made you love me" at 22, and three new songs from Drake, with "Janice STFU" breaking into the top ten at number 10.

Several songs are experiencing substantial declines from last week's top tier. Olivia Rodrigo's "drop dead" falls four places to number six, while "Choosin' Texas" from Ella Langley drops seven spots to 12. "Homewrecker" by sombr and "PINKY UP" by KATSEYE both slide three positions to numbers 7 and 9, respectively.

The lower half of the chart sees notable re-entries and climbs. Dexter and The Moonrocks' "Freakin’ Out" returns at 18, and Taylor Swift's "Opalite" re-enters at 21. ILLIT's "It's Me" jumps 11 places to number 25. Additionally, BTS has three songs re-enter the chart: "NORMAL" at 35, "Body to Body" at 37, and "Hooligan" at 40.
