Expelled from Paradise Game 'The Stellar Angel' Announced for 2026

A new visual novel game set in the world of the 2014 anime film Expelled from Paradise has been announced. Expelled from Paradise -The Stellar Angel- will be released on November 26, 2026.

It will be available on Steam worldwide and on Nintendo Switch in Japan. Pre-orders and Steam wishlist registrations opened on August 21, 2026.

The story is a new visual novel that bridges the original film and its upcoming sequel, Expelled from Paradise: Resonance of the Heart, scheduled for November 2026. The scenario is written by Shotaro Teshirogi, author of the Expelled from Paradise mission.0 novel.

Set in the year 2400, the plot follows the return of protagonists Angela Balzac and Dingo. They investigate mysterious new lifeforms called "Parallel Plants" appearing in the desert town of Svarga.

Rie Kugimiya and Shinichiro Miki reprise their roles as Angela and Dingo. The game will support both Japanese and English text.

The Steam version is priced at 5,280 yen. A physical limited edition for Nintendo Switch in Japan includes a novel, tapestry, soundtrack, and bookmark, priced at 11,880 yen.

A new official Discord server has been launched for fan discussion. The game's official website and a teaser trailer are now live.
