Fantasy Anime 'Neko to Ryu' Sets July 2026 Premiere, Reveals Cast and Trailer

The TV anime adaptation of Neko to Ryu (Cat and Dragon) will premiere in July 2026. A new promotional video and key visual were released alongside a major cast announcement.

Veteran voice actors Koyasu Takehito and Inoue Kikuko lead the cast. Koyasu will voice the dragon-cat hybrid "Neko Ryu," while Inoue voices the motherly cat "Mama Nyan." The supporting cast includes Izumi Fuka, Hayami Shō, Sugiyama Noriaki, Kawase Maki, and Tokudome Shinno.

The anime is based on the digital manga by Amara, with character designs by Ookuma Mai and art by Sasaki Izumi, published by Takarajimasha. MangaBox handles the digital distribution.

AnimeJapan 2026 will host a talk stage event for the series on March 28-29 in Tokyo.
