The fantasy manga Sudachi no Maoujou (Sudachi's Demon Castle) will receive a TV anime adaptation. The series is scheduled to begin broadcasting in Japan in January 2027.

The announcement was made alongside the release of the manga's 14th volume, which went on sale October 16, during the series' fifth anniversary year.

The anime's main cast has been confirmed. Ryo Kawashima will voice the protagonist Murasame, Rumi Okubo will voice the demon Mao, and Yohei Azakami will voice Ash. The series will air on TOKYO MX, MBS, BS11, and other networks.

The story follows a young man who inherits a castle inhabited by demons. He attempts to run a convenience store, or "sudachi-ya," within its walls.

A free digital reading campaign for the first six volumes is available on the Japanese platform G-Maga Base until October 22.

The manga is created by Makoto Morishita and published by Kodansha in Monthly Shonen Magazine. The anime's official website has launched.
