The Top 40 J-POP songs - Week 16 of 2026 – Only Hits Japan Charts

It's a stable week at the very top, but the chart is active just below. King Gnu's "AIZO" holds at #1 for a fifth consecutive week, while XG's "HYPNOTIZE" remains a firm #2. Ado's "Vivarium" climbs into the top five, moving from #6 to #5. The most notable new entry is AiNA THE END's "Luminous," debuting powerfully at #3.
The week's biggest leap comes from HANA, whose track "Bad Girl" skyrockets 19 places from #33 to #14. Conversely, the most significant fall is by amala's "Baumkuchen_EndCredits", which drops 26 spots from #13 to #39. Another major mover is 東京真中's "ブレインロット," jumping six spots to land at #6.

Several high-profile new entries shape the lower half of the top 40. NiziU's "Too Bad" debuts at #15, LiSA's "DECOTORA15" enters at #17, and ILLIT lands a second track with "Bubee" at #26. Further debuts include Tatsuya Kitani, Mili, and Vaundy, all entering the chart for the first time this week.
